About two years ago I had blogged about how inaccurate the IRS’s version of the Sweden-U.S. Income Tax Treaty was. The IRS has now removed its own inaccurate version, and has provided a link to the State Department website with an accurate version.
It seems that the IRS is now finding the time to tidy up its treaty materials. Yesterday, it released several other treaty technical explanations, including one for the Philippines, which I did not have a copy of.
